A #behindthescenes / #makingof video is in the works! Nervous but excited... (Search Brooke Dibble on YouTube to find me and subscribe to see it when it’s uploaded!)🦾♾ Couple of video snippets here, no.3 is the most detailed, watch through them if you're interested in some mini-breakdowns - A LOT of work went into the loop challenge over the past three weeks (evenings after work and all hours on the weekends) and I thought it would be cool to look at the process a little bit and explore some of the details - let me know if there’s anything specific you’d like to see in a breakdown of this?

WIP - in 2019 I did a quick character/costume dood

WIP - in 2019 I did a quick character/costume doodle (second image) which I really liked and end of 2021 I ended up starting to block out as a sculpt basis. It quickly changed direction BUT absolutely loving the process so far... I'll finish it one day, but i'd like to 3D print it and paint it physically in addition to using it as a test for new (digital) 3D painting techniques i've learned. Really enjoying jumping back into this one every now and then to add more detailing.

November 2021 - WIP Green screen test! I've never done anything like this before in terms of VFX shots etc, but wanted to try as a proof of concept, so one Saturday evening decided to whip out a green screen and see what happened... an hour of messing around setting up a badly creased green screen and filming a few mins of nonsense in a wig (not his name) and then spent the evening working on the general gist. It's all blocked in roughly but I can see the potential - I'm going to animate the machine and b/g characters and re-make all the pieces (everything is just placeholders at the moment whilst I work it out) but it's a fun little project to jump into for half hour or so every now and then!

November 2021 - another one from my first foray into the delights/problems of 3D scanning! I was SO fascinated by the sheer amount of details that can be captured in terms of geometry and colour texture - when it's done right anyway haha. This is a random door in Prague, i'm obsessed with all the doors and have thousands of photos of various doorways 😅

Variations of Big Belly Seahorse sculpts for a client. I would do a few things differently looking back on it now, but I guess that's progress then! These were 3D printed and painted for a display (definitely want to have a go painting one digitally!)
Sculpted in #zbrush and rendered in #keyshot
